BlackEXPO is Back with The Juice, a Celebration of Makers, Musicians, and Community, Apr 24

Posted by admin on

Springtime in Beijing means non-stop markets, bazaars, and all-day shenanigans, and the folks over at BlackEXPO are coming in hot with The Juice, their first – of what is sure to be many – beautiful events for what is shaping up to be a beautiful year. On Saturday, Apr 24 from noon to midnight, an impressive crew of vendors, DJs, and live bands will descend on Xian Bar at EAST Hotel for a unique celebration of artisanal goods, entrepreneurship, community, and music.

The day kicks off at noon with a market where you can pick up the latest wares from Jasmin’s Jewelry, JustSkin, Oil of the Phoenix, Soap Fresh So Clean, Virgo Serenity Candles, and a whole lot more, all set against a backdrop of tunes provided by DJ Reshui, Blu Zobo, as well as Beijinger festival favorites Great Buffalo Band, and AfroGents.

Then, once the market closes at 6pm, the party kicks into high gear with even more live music and DJs such as Ennoe, Caballe, and Wise, grooving late into the night.

“We wanted to give Beijing a new kind of experience and have it centered around something that everyone understands; music,” says co-organizer James Sserwadda. “So The Juice is an event for everyone. We will have a diverse range of musicians, DJs, and of course vendors. There is something for everyone.”

The Juice takes place this Saturday, Apr 24, from noon to midnight at EAST Hotel’s Xian Bar. Tickets for the whole experience run RMB 80 presale, or RMB 100 at the door and include one free drink as well as a JSS sponsored coupon that can be used at the event.
