Good morning! How was your weekend? It was a busy weekend of spring cleaning for us. Felt good to have the windows open and the fresh air fill the house – the weather was beautiful! I shared this on Instagram on Friday – but I found some gorgeous begonia hanging baskets at QFC for $19.99!! I usually get my hanging baskets at Costco – but missed the boat this year and was grateful to find affordable, beautiful baskets at the grocery store!

My sweet boy got his braces tightened and new brackets added last week. . . so he had a sore mouth and requested some potato soup. Despite it being 75 degrees and sunny – I made the soup! It was delicious and we all enjoyed it. I shared an informal recipe over on Instagram. I was lucky to find marked down potatoes, bacon, carrots and onions. . . which makes the soup very affordable! We’ve been making a lot of soups this year – so comforting and so easy to whip up with what I have in the fridge.

I also had picked up some marked down mushrooms and peppers. . . so we made grilled shish kabobs last night. . .they were so good! Excited to be grilling again this season. . .what are some of your favorite things to make on the grill?
