Sample flights
While this JetBlue deal applies to most cities, New York City and Boston are among those with the most travel options. From New York City, you can fly to international destinations such as Antigua and Vancouver, while Boston has cheap flights to cities like Miami and San Francisco.
Here are a few noteworthy flights:
- From New York City to Savannah, Georgia, starting at $39.
- From Boston to Washington, D.C. starting at $49.
- From New York City to Chicago, starting at $79.
- From Boston to Miami, starting at $89.
- From New York City to Puerto Vallarta, starting at $99.
- New York City to Vancouver, starting at $132.
- From Boston to Bermuda, starting at $199.
JetBlue’s deal is only for its Blue Basic economy fares. Without any extra perks, a one-way flight from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Vancouver International Airport (YVR) costs $132.
However, the fares for return flights are slightly more expensive. The cheapest possible fare from Vancouver to New York is $169. The total for the trip comes out to around $300.
Blue Basic does not allow carry-on bags or advanced seat selection. You can pay an additional $76 for JetBlue’s economy fare, which is a slight upgrade from Blue Basic since it allows you to bring a carry-on and select a seat.
Blue Basic does offer some perks, but you have to pay extra for them. Seat selection, baggage check-in, priority check-in and pets all cost extra. Seats can cost anywhere between $8 and $109 depending on comfort and location.
