Dine 909: New restaurants in Rancho Cucamonga, and Eastvale gets a food truck festival

Posted by admin on

I happened to drive through Rancho Cucamonga this weekend and noticed a few changes.

Broken Yolk Cafe has opened at 12285 Base Line, Suite 120.

The brunch-oriented restaurant opened in March.

Hours are 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Dumpling Master has opened just across Base Line from the Broken Yolk Cafe, at 7220 Day Creek Blvd., Suite 149.

The Asian eatery, which replaced Tobiko Sushi, appears to have opened in February. Hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.

Dalia’s Pizza has moved about a block east from its previous home in the former Sizzler at 9588 Base Line into a smaller, take-out location at 7232 Archibald Ave.

The move appears to have taken place in September.

Hours are 10 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

B.A.M.M.S. is back

It’s May, and that signals the return of No Clue Craft Brewery’s Barrel-aged Mexican Mocha Stout.

The beer, aged in bourbon barrels, clocks in at 14% alcohol by volume.

The brew — along with its non-barrel-aged counterpart — is available now for a limited time at the brewery, 9037 Arrow Route, Suite 170, Rancho Cucamonga.

The beer is also available in bottles for $18 while supplies last.

Food trucks in Eastvale

A new food truck festival — dubbed EATSvale — is set to launch from 3-7 p.m. Friday at 13200 Citrus Ave. (across from Eleanor Roosevelt High School).

The community event, which will also showcase art and music, is scheduled to run monthly through October.

Rubio’s new tacos

Rubio’s Coastal Grill will launch a trio of new tacos on Thursday, May 20, designed to take your taste buds on a trip.
